What coaching is

Christian life coaching is a partnership focused on your present and future. I listen, ask questions, offer perspective from my own life and faith, and help you set goals and take steps toward them. You decide what to work on, and you're responsible for your own choices and actions.

What coaching isn't

I'm a certified Bible-based life coach. I'm not a licensed therapist, counselor, psychologist, physician, attorney, or financial advisor, and coaching isn't a substitute for their services. Coaching doesn't diagnose or treat any medical or mental health condition.

If you're dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, addiction, or another serious concern, please seek help from a licensed professional. Coaching can work alongside that care, but it can't replace it. If I believe you'd be better served by another professional, I'll tell you.

Results

Every person's situation is different, and I can't promise specific results. The outcome of coaching depends largely on your own effort and circumstances.

Confidentiality

I keep what you share in coaching confidential. I may share information only with your permission, or where required by law: for example, if there's a risk of serious harm to you or someone else, or suspected abuse of a child or vulnerable adult. Unlike conversations with a licensed therapist or attorney, coaching conversations aren't legally privileged.

Faith-based approach

My coaching draws on Christian faith and Scripture. You're welcome whatever your background, and you're always free to tell me what you're comfortable with.
