Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information pattiwright.com (the "site") collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. The site is operated by Patti Wright ("Patti," "I," "me"), a Christian life coach based in Ohio.
The short version
- The site uses no cookies, advertising, or social media pixels, and doesn't track you across other websites.
- I only collect what you choose to give me: when you book a session, send a message, or become a coaching client.
- I never sell or rent your personal information, and I don't share it for advertising.
Information I collect
Information you give me
- Booking a session. When you book through my scheduling page, you provide your name, email address, and anything you choose to write in the booking form.
- Contacting me. If you use the contact form, I receive your name, email address, phone number (if you give it), and your message. The form emails your message to me; the website itself doesn't store it.
- Coaching. If you become a client, I keep notes from our sessions, along with records of scheduling and payment.
Information collected automatically
Like every website, this site is delivered by a hosting provider (Cloudflare) whose servers briefly process technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and the page requested. This is used to deliver pages, keep the site secure, and block abuse. I don't use it to identify or track you, and the site sets no cookies.
Visit counts
To see which pages are helpful, the site counts visits with Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused service. It records totals such as page views, the website that referred you, and your country and device type. It uses no cookies, doesn't build a profile of you, and doesn't follow you to other sites. Your IP address is used only briefly to tell visits apart and is never stored. The counting runs through pattiwright.com itself, so your browser doesn't connect to Plausible directly.
How I use your information
- To schedule and hold coaching sessions and send related reminders
- To reply to your messages and questions
- To provide coaching services and keep appropriate records
- To keep the site secure and working properly
- To meet legal obligations
I won't add you to a mailing list unless you ask to join one.
Services I use
A few trusted providers handle information for me. They have their own privacy policies:
- Plausible Analytics provides the anonymous visit counts described above.
- Cloudflare hosts and delivers this site and sends contact-form messages to my inbox. Its Turnstile spam check runs on the contact form to confirm a real person is sending it; it looks at basic browser and device signals and doesn't use advertising cookies.
- Google (Google Calendar appointment scheduling and Google Meet) handles session booking and video calls. When you click "Book a free first session," you leave this site and go to Google's booking page, where Google's privacy policy applies.
- Email and payment providers. Messages reach me through my email provider. If you pay for coaching, payment is handled by the payment provider; I don't see or store your full card number.
Coaching confidentiality
What you share in coaching stays between us. I keep session notes private and secure and don't share them, except with your permission or where the law requires it, such as a risk of serious harm to you or someone else. See the Coaching Disclaimer for more.
How long I keep information
I keep messages and booking information only as long as needed to respond to you and provide services, and client records for as long as reasonably needed for the coaching relationship and my business and legal records. After that, I delete it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask me to tell you what personal information I have about you, correct it, or delete it. To make a request, use the contact page. I'll respond within 30 days. I won't treat you differently for making a request.
I don't sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in state privacy laws, so there's nothing to opt out of.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Because the site doesn't track visitors across websites or over time, it behaves the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
Children
This site and my coaching services are meant for adults. I don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent me information, please use the contact page and I'll delete it.
Security
The site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and I take reasonable steps to protect the information you share. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, but I work to keep yours safe.
Links to other sites
The site links to other websites, such as my booking page. I'm not responsible for their privacy practices, so please review their policies.
Changes to this policy
If I change this policy, I'll post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date above.
